I became a nurse first—because I wanted to care deeply. And after years of working in ICUs and urgent care centers, I saw what happens when the medical system forgets our humanity. I started my career in family medicine, but it was my work with psychiatric patients—and my own lived experience breaking free from narcissistic abuse—that brought me here.
