I run a cash pay integrative psychiatry and psychotherapy practice and am dedicated to nurturing whole-body health and wellness in my patients. I was born in Long Beach, California, where I was raised by immigrant parents from Mexico, instilling in me a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness of culture and mental heath. Central to my practice is the belief that true healing encompasses the totality of the individual, honoring their unique journey. I strive to create a collaborative and nurturing space where patients feel truly heard and are empowered to explore various avenues of healing.
We incorporate lifestyle modifications, mindfulness, nutrition, behavioral therapy and evidence based pharmacotherapy, where appropriate. Note: I only accept CASH pay, but provide an invoice for each visit which may be submitted to insurance for reimbursement by patients if desired.
I studied Psychology and Bilingualism at UC Berkeley and completed a decade of community health research in Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Peru. I received my MD/MPH in 2017 from UC Irvine. I completed Internal Medicine Internship at UCI Medical Center and psychiatry residency at Loma Linda University in 2021. Harvard MBA in progress.
