I believe that the key to effective treatment depends upon a strong collaborative alliance between patient and physician. The difficulties you are experiencing are most likely a combination of physiological and psychological problems.Treatment begins with a comprehensive review of your physical, emotional state and social well being. If you need medication we will discuss the various options. Together we will take into account your unique circumstances and arrive at a personalized treatment plan. Subsequent visits will moniter your response to the medication and help you learn how the medication works.
I treat patients who suffer from mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse and ADHD. The goal of treatment is to restore your health and promote personal growth and development.
If you are already in therapy I will work in coordination with your therapist to optimize treatment. If you need a therapist you will have the option of seeing me or being referred to a therapist in the community.
