After completing her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University in New Jersey, Dr. Abramov received her medical degree from St. George’s university School of Medicine in Grenada. She completed her Residency training in adult psychiatry at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and her Fellowship training in geriatric psychiatry at Columbia University.
Dr. Abramov’s approach is patient-centered. She collaborates with the patient, their families, and other members of the care team to create a highly individualized treatment plan. She believes in the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship in facilitating the healing process.
