YO hablo ESPAÑOL. I have been an RN for over 20 years working in correctional setting with male adults ranging from 18 years old and up. Public health working with newborns, children, teens, and adults with immunizations, handicapped for children program, family planning, outbreaks, and international travel. I worked the inpatient Acute Treatment Unit and inpatient detox for Health Solutions in Pueblo, Co. I've worked at Sandstone Care with inpatient adolescent unit dual diagnosis of mental health and substance abuse plus inpatient detox in Colorado Springs, CO.
I have worked with all ages in my career and am most comfortable working with children, teens, and young adults, by main focus is children.
Mental health has always been a big part of my small community with limited resources. I decided to become a provider to assist with those limitations. We need to make those services more accessible to prevent anymore suicides that have impacted not only my small community but others as well.
