Hi! I'm an adult-trained Reproductive Psychiatrist with a collaborative, holistic, trauma-informed whole person approach to caring for folks of all colors and backgrounds. After 20+ years in practice, I still love learning neuroscience and helping patients achieve their goals. I use psychotherapy, medication, coping tools, exercise, nutrition and spirituality to help folks feel better. Based in SF, licensed in CA, DC, MD, & VA, I work both in person and via telehealth. I have worked in a broad range of settings across the US and abroad and was faculty at UPenn and UCSF, where I was the Medical Director for Perinatal Psychiatry.
I specialize in Trauma, ADHD, Women’s Mental Health (hormonal mood disorders, PMDD, preconception, pregnancy/postpartum, grief/loss, parenting) and other relationship challenges. I also treat depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD/Autism and eating disorders. Whether coming to me for meds &/or therapy, I use IFS/CBT/DBT/Mindfulness & neuroscience to plan our work.
My approach is rooted in understanding your unique experiences, strengths, and challenges - I want my clients to feel seen, understood and SAFE.
