My goal in treating your mental health is a partnership - requiring collaboration and transparency from both of us in this therapeutic relationship - to improve your quality of life and empower you to achieve your goals.
We start with a psychiatric evaluation to identify (diagnose, if needed) and develop a treatment plan for reaching your goals. If we use medication/s to treat your symptoms, it is likely we'll follow-up on a regular basis to make sure it is effective for your needs - this will depend on your concerns and needs, but likely every 1-3 months for routine appts.
Our individual life circumstances have profound impact on our daily experiences, and the feelings we have about those experiences. It is an honor to be trusted with vulnerability when patients seek help for what is often scary and confusing - when we don't know if our own mind is safe - and to help them regain balance and find direction through healing.
