Hi! I am Maranda Hansley, and I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have worked in psychiatry as a registered nurse for nearly half a decade. My experiences have been in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have worked with patients with mood disorders, psychotic spectrum disorders, substance use disorders, trauma/stress related conditions, eating disorders, etc. I have a passion for preventative care services, and that is what I believe to be the purpose of outpatient psychiatric services. I want to be part of the solution before it becomes a higher level crisis.

I plan to work with clients to come to a shared decision on medication management, including whether or not it is the best course of action as this may vary from individual to individual. Together we will weigh the benefits and risks of treatment options, always opting for whatever offers the most safety and accessibility.

I use non-controlled psychiatric medication to treat ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and more. Typically, I will meet with a client and make a treatment recommendation based on what I observe from them. Once they have started their medication, I follow up in 2-6 weeks. Once they are stable, I see them less frequently.
