Hi! I’m a board-certified child, adolescent, and young adult psychiatrist. I see patients primarily for medication management with or without psychotherapy. I do not see patients solely for therapy. I see patients from age 5 to 26.
I believe in taking a holistic approach to mental health treatment, especially with younger patients. The family unit is important, and no child is an island. While I consider myself skilled in medication management, I do not immediately jump to prescribing medications when lifestyle, school, and/or family interventions should be tried first.
