Dr. Manju R. Goyal is currently in practice of outpatient psychiatry at 5477 Glen Lakes Dr, Suite 210, Dallas, Texas. She has resided in Dallas area since 1982 and has more than 35 years of experience of treating psychiatric problems in both inpatient and outpatient arena. She uses a comprehensive approach including both psychotherapy and medication if necessary, to evaluate and treat patients and if possible bring symptoms to full remission. She specializes in treating different psychiatric disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder, anxiety, panic disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, etc.
Dr. Goyal completed intensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy training twice and presided over a DBT therapy group for 4 years to treat Borderline Personality Disorder. In the past 3 years, she has intensively trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Beck Institute, Philadelphia. She believes in helping patients by combining CBT, DBT and mindfulness skills.
She did her residency in psychiatry from St. Vincent's Medical Center of North Richmond Staten Island, New York. Currently, Dr. Goyal is taking Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance only. However, she is seeing self-pay patients and the patients may check with their insurance carrier for reimbursement.
