About
Thriving in an evermore complex world can be overwhelming; mental health is key and self-actualization is a journey best undertaken with good support. My name is Mahreen Rashid and I am well acquainted with the field of psychological nurse practitioner. My goal is to work in partnership with my clients to maximize their potentials, increase their abilities and confidence in self-care, while also helping them maximize their experience of their own authentic selves. I strive to provide all my clients with the support and guidance they need as they navigate the complexities of mental illness and or substance abuse issues.
I am offering Telemedicine and Teletherapy through video and/or phone to all who want to be seen during this time. I maintain a collaborative and respectful approach, and establish a safe therapeutic environment with compassion, empathy, and I keep the room light and open for conversation ranging anywhere from casual talk to meaningful discussion.
I recognize the individuality of all my patients and tailor services to meet their unique needs. My clients include adults, adolescents and senior citizens. I continuously broaden the focus on the evaluation and treatment of my clients, which considers and combines their unique social, psychological, and medical characteristics.
