I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with knowledge in working with clients of all ages and backgrounds including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I have experience in psychiatric treatment and management of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorders, ADHD and substance abuse. I use a person-centered, individualized approach to treatment and rely on evidence-based practices that recommend the combination of medication management and a commitment to psychotherapy to improve treatment outcomes.
Although my main focus is prescribing medications, I pride myself in having the ability to partner with my clients as they discover and learn to use their own strengths to overcome life obstacles and mental illness. I recognize that it is essential to meet my clients where they are in their journey of recovery.
