I'm Lourdine ( Lou) Jean-Baptiste, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Florida with over ten years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field, ranging from child and adult inpatient and outpatient settings. I received my doctorate at the University of North Florida and immediately started working as a psychiatric nurse in an Inpatient Stabilization Unit. In addition to my practical experience, I have a unique ability to connect with individuals, a capacity to understand them, and the empathy to meet them where they are.
