I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, experienced in evaluating and managing conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders and sleep issues. I am licensed to diagnose mental health disorders and to provide medication management. I offer problem focused, solution-based therapy sessions and work with local therapists to meet more extensive needs. I recognize that every individual has unique goals for their life. I will work with you to meet these goals and develop a treatment plan that is symptom focused and designed to meet your individual needs. I offer telepsych appointments.
I will help you learn behavioral skills. Evidence-based medication approaches will be used when necessary, I provide education related to medications prior to any medication decisions. I believe that physical health and mental health are connected. As part of your treatment, we will consider your health issues with the goal of helping you be healthier.
I believe in trying to have a sense of humor in life and a willingness to try new things. I can offer user-friendly psychiatric care online through a secure telepsychiatry service. We can have an appointment in the privacy of your own home without travel time. I have co-workers who are doing in-person appointments in Yakima. I am accepting new clients.
