Hi. I am so glad you are here. I am Lisa Watkins, a board certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have earned a certification in Functional Medicine as well, which means my approach to your care is to find the root cause of your symptoms and formulate a specific individual plan for you. There are options other than just pills and my approach is to utilize natural options such as supplements, movement, and nutrition education to help you to heal your body and relieve your symptoms.
We will review the specific details of your symptoms and do appropriate testing to determine the root cause of the symptoms. Together we will formulate an individual treatment plan. We will utilize supplements to help to balance the nutrients in the body, magnesium is a great supplement for many mood issues, digestive issues as well as sleep.
I love people. I feel we have been mislead into believing that pills are the answer to problems and this is rarely the case. I feel so motivated to educate people about their bodies, what is going on when they are having symptoms and empowering them to take back control of their lives - to be able to wake up in the morning energized and excited for the day!
