Lisa D’Amura is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned both her Bachelors (2003) and Masters (2017) Degrees of Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. She has experience working with a wide variety of patients in both in-patient and out-patient mental health. Before her move to psychiatric nursing Lisa was a Registered Nurse, Lactation Consultant and volunteer with a grassroots mental health organization-PSI.
She has a passion for providing compassionate care to clients with depression, anxiety and mood disorders. She believes in getting to know her clients and treating the whole person as a collaborative effort. Lisa enjoys teaching patients and answering questions so that they feel comfortable and confident with their treatment options.
Lisa is an LGBTQ ally and enjoys working with humans from ALL backgrounds. She has specialized training in perinatal/postpartum mood disorders and anxiety, including lactation and medication safety.
