I am OPEN & Accepting new patients at this time. Are you looking for mental health prescriber who also provides therapy in the same session? I combine these two specialties so that I can treat the whole person at the same time. I also provide just medication management or just therapy. I am a board certified PMHNP for ages 18-65 years. I have extensive training in Trauma focused treatment, and am certified to provide EMDR therapy.I attend updates on medications yearly. I collaborate with therapists, PCPs, Naturopaths, and other providers who support you in your health journey.
I have a client-centered approach to therapy. I believe that clients are the best experts on themselves. Each client has strengths that help them work through the challenges in life. I prefer to empower my client and together we collaboratively direct the therapy. I keep the therapy moving forward.
I encourage the development of self-confidence, self-support, & healthy interdependence with the important people in my client's lives. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Interpersonal therapy, Pet therapy & other therapy styles to assist my clients. I strive to keep costs/visits to the minimum needed to reach recovery.
