I am a board certified psychiatrist that treats the general adult population, with a focus on reproductive psychiatry. In addition to treating adults with mood and anxiety disorders, I focus on perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders as well as symptoms surrounding PMS/PMDD and perimenopause.
I completed residency training at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, and received my medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
I provide a comprehensive consultation to assess symptoms and create an individualized treatment plan. This typically includes a discussion about psychotherapy, medication management, and sometimes both. I also collaborate with therapists in the community as well as primary care physicians and obstetricians when appropriate to provide the best comprehensive care.
