For depression and or anxiety, I would normally assess your symptoms and complete a medication assessment during the initial session. I may prescribe psychiatric medication or recommend therapy or both, which will be discuss in session. Most patients see gradual lifting of symptoms within a 4-6 weeks with consistent improvement thereafter.
