I am an APRN who specializes in & treats only children & adolescents ages 5-17 with behavioral & mental health issues. Unlike other practitioners who treat individuals of all ages, treating this age group is my sole area of expertise and training. I specialize in ADHD, Anxiety, OCD & other disorders first diagnosed in childhood/adolescence. I believe physical health, sleep, diet, lifestyle & family participation are integral to one's mental health. I will work with your child and family to ensure all aspects of your child's care are addressed as well as discuss & explore medication options.
I provide medication evaluations & ongoing medication management only. I am happy to collaborate with pediatricians, therapists, schools & any other providers involved in your child's care. If you don't choose me for your care, please make sure the person you do choose has been in practice a minimum of 10 years, and did not attend an online school.
Addressing a child/adolescent’s mental health needs should be positive & filled with hope. My goal is to work with your family as a team to give you the information you need to make a decision as to the treatment you would like to pursue. Sometimes medications are not the answer, something we will explore together. Please note I do not take any insurance.
