Hi, I'm Lauren! I'm a Mental Health NP providing diagnostic assessment, medication management & therapy for children and adults in OH & KY (virtual & in-person in Maysville). I often hear from people who’ve reached out for help and felt misunderstood or dismissed, and that’s exactly why I started this practice. Truly personalized, quality mental health care doesn't have to be exclusive or only for those who are able to pay privately. I'm working hard to create an inclusive local option where your care is tailored to you and our communication and belief in one another is the foundation that our progress is built on.
I'm honest and caring and create genuine connections with my patients and their families. I believe that knowledge is power and do my best to provide education about new or prior diagnoses and suggested treatment options. I offer a root cause approach which sometimes involves lab work and/or genetic testing so that we can start putting together the pieces.
I can truly say that this is the most rewarding work of my life, and I meet every patient with an open mind, an open notebook, a selection of beverages, and zero judgement. In our rural community mental health carries such a stigma. I’m working hard to create a space for understanding, growth, and connection. I’d be honored for you to be part of it.
