Would you like a warm and experienced psychiatrist to help you overcome your difficulties? I have extensive experience with all variety of emotional and psychiatric issues, having worked with adults in hospital, community and office settings. I provide psychotherapy for the individual, with or without medication management. I also will provide medication management alone if desired. Pharmacogenetic testing is an exciting technology which allows for selection of medications without trial and error. I now provide this testing (simple cheek swab), analysis and counseling. Test kits can be sent directly to patient.
I may be especially helpful with anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and mood disorders. I use an emotion-focused approach to therapy and can be helpful with self-esteem and relationship issues. I believe in communicating with other providers in your care and am very accessible to your therapist when needed.
I am located in the heart of Greenwich Village, near transportation. I am no longer a Medicare provider.
