Hello! My name is LaToya Sewell. I am a psychiatric and family medicine nurse practitioner. I specialize in integrating medications with exercise, nutritional supplements, sleep, spirituality, hobbies, and examining diet and gut health to alleviate stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I enjoy helping patients feel understood and supported, to confidently move forward with insight, purpose, and peace. I truly believe people are doing the best they can the best they know how. My practice is one of compassion, non-judgment, and making progress.
Some patients really need and benefit well from modern medications and/or therapy. Some patients need correction of nutritional deficiencies and respond well to the calming effects of plant based approaches. Some need or prefer both. Ultimately the goal is to help my patients get to the root of their struggles and work through them.
Fortunately, for the majority of my career I have not practiced in fast food medicine. It's never been my practice to hurry a client. Your appointment is your time to dedicate to you, to take care of you. You will not be rushed and I will not overbook.
