I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. I've been practicing since 2014, initially as an officer in the U.S. Army, and as a civilian since 2017. Treatment involves consistent communication and the consideration of your input. No one is immune from mental health concerns, but they don't have to derail your life. I have treated everyone from high school students, to successful professionals, to elite military officers. I have considerable experience in treating trauma. However, I am also experienced in treating depression, anxiety, sleep problems, ADHD, and substance abuse. If these are things you are struggling with, I can help.
As a veteran who has treated active duty personnel, other veterans, and military families, I have a unique perspective on the challenges faced by these populations. Additionally, I spent many years treating Traumatic Brain Injury clients at Craig Hospital, giving me insight into the needs of TBI survivors as well.
