Dr. Lance Wobus completed his psychiatry residency at Richmond University Medical Center in New York City, where he treated patients in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. He earned his MD from St. George’s University School of Medicine, an MBA from the University of Oxford, an MA in Physics from Columbia University, and undergraduate degrees in Physics and English from the University of Texas at Austin. His experience includes caring for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions.
Prior to medicine, he worked in scientific research and medical publishing and has published and presented on topics spanning astrophysics, psychiatry, medical education, and mental health. Dr. Wobus believes effective psychiatric care starts with listening and understanding each patient’s unique experiences, challenges, and goals.
He fosters a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients can speak openly and participate actively in treatment decisions.
