I'm Kym D’Agostino, a Yale educated, double board-certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Clinical Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing. With over 25 years of dedicated experience, I've had the privilege of providing high-quality care to individuals of all ages, particularly children, adolescents, and young adults. As an APRN, I have the advantage of being both a psycho-pharmacologist and and a psycho-therapist. I provide holistic and empathic care to my clients within a psychodynamic framework which recognizes the profound impact of one's history and relationships on their well being.
In my pursuit of excellence, I've expanded my toolkit through additional training in evidence-based treatments. My expertise includes psychopharmacology, EMDR and training in CBT skills, behavioral modifications and parenting skills and motivational interviewing. My fees are variable dependent on length of session and type.
I take pride in being a compassionate listener, creating a safe and nurturing environment where my clients feel heard and understood. My history of working in child guidance clinics and pediatric settings in addition to emergency rooms, and culturally sensitive hospital settings have strengthened my ability to treat most presenting problems.
