I’m a psychiatrist and psychotherapist in New York City, and I see individuals, couples, and groups. I believe that working to understand our struggles in the context of a healing relationship can help us live life with greater wisdom, flexibility, and integrity. I also believe that we are shaped by our relationships, past and present. My work is to address internal conflicts and patterns of suffering that can leave us feeling stuck in our lives. I aim to provide a space that fosters lasting emotional growth, greater fulfillment, and deeper connection with self and others. You may see me for psychotherapy, medications, or both.

I see our work as an opportunity to be your partner in a journey of self-discovery. Using a psychodynamic frame, I focus on helping you understand the stories that make up your past and present while also attuning to the here-and-now of our relationship. My hope is that, through this work, you may walk toward your future with authenticity and purpose.

I run a weekly process group based on psychodynamic principles. Interpersonal group psychotherapy is a unique and powerful modality that can help people become aware of and address persistent patterns in their relationships and their identity. Group psychotherapy may be used as the primary treatment approach, or it can be used alongside individual treatment. Groups meet on a weekly basis for 60 minutes.
