As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I diagnose, prescribe, treat, and manage patients with mental health illnesses such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and ADHD. I have over 15 years of nursing experience that includes medical-surgical, telemetry and psychiatry. I believe that one of my advantages as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is my extensive history and background within those various settings. I view each patient as an individual and take an integrative approach to treatment.
There are many components that affects one’s mental health such as sleep, diet, nutritional deficiencies or underlying medical conditions. I take the time to rule out any imbalances in those components that could be contributing factors to your mental health.
I believe that each patient is a part of the care team. I will work with you to help you make the best decisions for your mental health. I am currently accepting new patients. I offer virtual and in-person appointments.
