My specialty is Women's Mental Health across the life span from puberty through menopause. I also have expertise in Reproductive Psychiatry. My approach is always holistic and thorough, making sure that my patient feels safe, comfortable, and most importantly, heard.
I help my patients understand if psychiatric medication is an appropriate option for them, and why. Knowledge, empowerment and joint decision making are my priority. Psychotropics are one of many tools available to women, but understanding the safety, efficacy, risks and benefits of each in relation to a woman's specific situation is pivotal.
