I am a Korean American Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experiences with PTSD, OCD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and other behavioral or mental health issues. As a US Army Veteran myself, I truly believe that the brain and body work together when outside forces such as trauma, stress, or injury occur. The mind will go into a survival mode, which can trigger mental and physical symptoms. Mental illness can come to anyone and at any time.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I received a Master of Science in Nursing-PMHNP at University of Texas at Arlington where I trained in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I am an U.S. Army veteran nurse who is dedicated, compassionate, energetic, and trained to work in high stress environment, providing high quality service in healthcare settings. I decided to be a PMHNP after I witnessed many veterans with mental disorders and realized mental illness can be just as impairing in someone's life as physical illness.

I am a doctorally prepared advanced practice registered nurse (ARNP). I received a Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice (DNP) from University of Washington. I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I pursued my studies in the field of mental health because I wanted to give patients more individualized psychiatric care and positively impact their lives in holistic ways. In my practice, I practice psychiatry with strong emphasis on patient well-being, evidence-based practice and treatment plan that incorporates the goals and needs of her patients.

I am doctorally prepared from the University of Washington and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who can provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, and brief psychotherapy. I firmly believe that each individual's mental health journey is unique, so it is important to tailor the treatment approach to meet their needs. Collaboration with my clients is the key concept of my practice, valuing their input and actively involving them in the decision-making process.
