Kirby completed her doctoral degree (DNP) through the University of Minnesota School of Nursing in 2015 and has provided care in primary care clinics and traditional mental health settings in Oregon, Iowa, and Minnesota. She has also received her certification in perinatal mental health and sits on the Iowa Chapter Board of Postpartum Support International.
Outside of clinical practice, Kirby enjoys spending time with her partner and two children. She finds contentment when biking with kids in tow, exploring natural spaces, doing yoga, and drinking coffee while reading a good book.
