About
I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience treating patients with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder and autism spectrum disorder. I have experience caring for individuals of all ages. As a medical professional, my main responsibility is to prescribe and manage medication. I encourage mindfulness practices as a way to approach all aspects of living. I stress the importance of healthy nutrition, exercise and the practice of good sleep hygiene. This allows me to take as conservative an approach as possible with medication.
I attend national conferences and local meetings so that I can offer up-to-date, exceptional care. I always use evidence based treatments. I am eager to collaborate with my patients' therapists, psychologists and their medical doctors.
I partner with my patients to develop an holistic approach while offering the latest medical modalities. I feel that it is important to listen and allow each patient to express their concerns and desires for treatment. I am always readily available to address questions and concerns through phone calls or e-mails.
