I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist with over a decade of clinical experience. I hold advanced degrees from Wellesley College, YaIe University, and Stony Brook School of Medicine. I believe in the combination of psychotherapy and medication for a rapid return of functioning.
My areas of expertise include Depression, Anxiety Disorders (including Panic Disorder, OCD, PTSD, Phobias, and generalized anxiety), Bipolar Disorder and Reproductive Psychiatry (i.e. issues during the perinatal, postpartum, and perimenopausal periods). I practice evidence-based medicine and use updated scientific literature to inform my treatment plans.
