I'm Kevin Atwell, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with extensive experience treating mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and insomnia. Before becoming a psychiatric nurse and nurse practitioner, I gained valuable experience as a youth counselor for adolescents with autism, an advocate for homeless women, and a direct support professional for men with developmental disabilities.
I completed my accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Cleveland State University, my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Kent State University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
