I’m Kevin Atwell, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with extensive experience in treating mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and insomnia. Before becoming a psychiatric nurse and nurse practitioner, I had a variety of roles, including youth counselor for adolescents with autism, advocate for homeless women, and direct support professional for men with developmental disabilities.
I completed my accelerated BS in Nursing at Cleveland State University, my MS in Nursing at Kent State University, and my BA in Psychology at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. With an empathetic and calm demeanor, I provide each patient with an individualized plan of care, offering support through education, therapy, and medication management.
