My career started as an RN in medicine, with both nursing and psychology degrees. I earned a DNP in 2023 and a master's in psychiatry in 2020, which is when I started my career as an NP. I began inpatient, therefore, I have experience in treating severe mood disorders, OCD, anxiety, psychotic and trauma disorders. I transitioned to outpatient care in 2023 where I focus on medication management for trauma, mood, anxiety and personality disorders, ADHD and more.
You come first! I consider the whole person before prescribing. I learn about your environments, relationships, finances, career, medical history and overall health, substance use, etc. I provide a warm and flexible approach, with the goal of optimizing your overall quality of life.
My patients can expect to feel comfortable amd secure with me above else. Building a rapport is the first step. We will focus on achieving relief of acute symptoms, improve distress tolerance by challenging avoidance, learn healthy coping techniques and decrease maladaptive coping measures.
