I'm a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and help people with mental health medication, psychotherapy, and Ketamine therapy. I'm licensed in California, Oregon, and Arizona and can see people over tele-health (video or phone) anywhere in these states, including patients with Medicare. In-office ketamine is available in California. As a nurse practitioner and therapist I see us as multifaceted beings who mostly live our lives through old wounds from the past. Our wounds are what get in our way and when they get out of our way, we can be who we truly are-our true self, spirt, or soul and is who we are meant to be. Living through being.
Our wounds are important because they show up to try to help us, but they do it in a one dimensional, one answer fits all, shaming, childlike perspective, and can really mess things up under the guise of helping. Healing is getting the wounds out of the way and allowing ourselves to live through our true self/spirit. Nurturing is a big part of how we do it.
When we learn to deeply nurture ourselves and the old wounds, we emerge from behind the wounds living true to ourselves and we feel grounded, safe, open, connected, and in flow.
