I am a double board certified adult and child psychiatrist. Among the cutting edge treatments used in my practice are TMS, an FDA approved intervention utilizing magnetic fields for treatment resistant depression and Spravato (esketamine), an FDA-approved rapid-acting antidepressant.

I often use cognitive behavioral, supportive, mindfulness and psychodynamic psychotherapies in my practice. Psychotherapy sessions typically run 12-20 visits. TMS therapy involves use of magnetic fields to treat depression over 20-40 sessions spanning 50 minutes. Spravato (esketamine) sessions occur anywhere from twice weekly to once monthly depending on response. Spravato sessions are 2 hours.
