Welcome. Hyland Psychiatry is owned and operated by Kendall Monroe APRN. Please book your first appointment via the website (on the side of the webpage / scroll to the bottom of the mobile page). I offer telepsychiatry as well as in-person services working with people 15+ up to 65 years of age. Younger than 15 years of age are accepted on a case-by-case basis however, if you have worked with me previously I am happy to continue treatment. I have built my practice to be tech savvy, engaging, and to utilize measurement based care.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and earned my degree from Columbia University. I have been providing care in this role since 2018. Currently, I offer evaluations for medications and long-term management. I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders as well as ADHD, PTSD, and OCD. I don't provide neuro-psych testing for ADHD.
My approach to psychiatry and mental health is to work with patients from a place of understanding, warmth, and knowledge to help them heal and grow. I value shared decision making and we work as a team.
