I am a board-certified general adult and consultation-liaison psychiatrist with experience in geriatric psychiatry. I have an interest in psychiatric oncology and transplant psychiatry, but ultimately, wish to provide support to those with psychiatric concerns who have medical conditions (though anyone is welcomed, regardless of medical history). I hope to develop a treatment plan with my clients that is humanistic and sensitive to their personal history, current environment, and cultural influences.
After graduating psychiatry residency from the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Psychiatry Residency, I spent an additional year training in consultation-liaison psychiatry, a subspecialty focused on the complex interplay between mental and physical health.
Though I am grateful for society's increased recognition of psychiatry and mental health, the lives of those living with psychiatric symptoms and conditions march on regardless. My wish is to provide support in their journeys.
