I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner as well as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, licensed to practice in the state of Illinois. I have been practicing since 2008 with various past nursing experiences both inpatient and outpatient in areas including cardiac stepdown, the emergency department, internal medicine, and urgent care. During the pandemic, I decided to focus on psychiatry after seeing an increased need for mental health providers and extensive wait times for quality care. I genuinely love what I do and the patients I see.
I currently have patients ages 5 through 85 with diagnoses including anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, depression, eating disorders, oppositional defiance disorder, and substance abuse issues amongst other diagnoses. I am certified to provide alternative care such as esketamine (Spravato) treatment, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
I take pride in making appointments a desirable experience for each individual, as seeking mental healthcare can be uncomfortable due to stigma and poor past experiences.
