As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I see patients of all backgrounds and past diagnoses across the lifespan. I possess the skills to assess, diagnose and treat mental health disorders. I am passionate about offering an empathetic, non-judgmental environment with unconditional positive regard for every person. I focus on building strong therapeutic relationships with patients, collaborating with them to create personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults with anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and complex PTSD. I also have a passion for helping women who struggle with perinatal and/or post-partum anxiety and mood disorders . My trauma ICU experience has prepared me to help children and adults navigate their emotions related to acute and chronic trauma.
I am excited about the opportunity to provide truly holistic care to every person. I understand that the treatment of mental health conditions extends beyond medication alone and I look forward to supporting the physical, nutritional, sleep, social, and emotional needs to increase the overall wellness of my patients.
