I don't really have an "ideal" client. I am in this field to help everyone, not only bigger issues, but what we would perceive as "small" ones as well. I think everyone has something in their life that needs to be tweaked, and I believe with medication, therapy, and coping skill, most people can conquer their problems. It just takes a lot of hard work, and those are the types of patients I love. The ones not afraid to put the work in to become healthy, both mentally and physically.
I have experience with inpatient, outpatient, and crisis/emergent psych. I began working inpatient right out of nursing school. I then moved onto becoming an ER/Trauma nurse who dealt with emergency psychiatry, and medicine. I believe in a holistic approach and everyone should be given the opportunity to learn and apply what will make them heal.

I am the type of provider who really cares about her patients, but is honest with them. I spent many years working in different mental health settings, and am understanding and sensitive to peoples feelings.
