Hello! I am a board-certified holistic psychiatrist specializing in stress/burnout, anxiety, self-esteem/self-love, empowerment, family counseling, perimenopause, and neurodivergence. I spent 12 years working with Andrew Weil MD's Integrative Medicine Program at the Univ of Arizona and Deepak Chopra/The Chopra Center in San Diego. Though conventionally trained at Duke University, U of Michigan Med School and U of Arizona Psychiatry Residency, I emphasize herbal medicines, nutraceuticals, and psychotherapy in my practice. I offer light pharmacotherapy (SSRI, mood stabilizers, etc.; no controlled substances), when appropriate.
I love helping individuals grow thru their struggles to live inspired, aligned lives. Counseling couples (re: communication, wounds, emotional + physical intimacy) and families, especially those with neurodivergent children, are a few additional areas of expertise. Assisting people in transition, incl from meds to herbal/holistic options, is another focus.
As a yogi, artist, writer and meditator, creativity and spirituality infuse all I do. With me, healing happens on multiple levels (mind + body). If interested, complete the paperwork on my website.
