Welcome to Bloom Psychiatry. My name is Kayla Cross, I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for mental health and/or substance use disorders. I offer treatment both in person or virtually. My mission is to support your recovery from mood, thought, anxiety and/or substance use disorders through medication management. I am here to help you realize goals defined by you and to support you to live your best life. I will help you develop a treatment plan that works for your life and goals.
I believe open communication and trust are the cornerstones of successful mental health treatment. There is no judgement on your choices, preferences, or activity outside of helping you define your goals and supporting your pursuit of them. I want to ensure you feel safe, respected and autonomous in making informed choices about your treatment.
I have served within mental health nursing for 20 years. I enjoy working with people to find their purpose, define their own goals, and work towards reaching them. Medication can be an extremely helpful tool for short and long-term health concerns and I am excited to provide you with information to make an informed treatment choice.
