Ms. Dexter focuses on supporting the adult patient’s total mental health and emotional well-being. She encourages family involvement in the therapeutic process. Discovering the optimal medication regimen for each patient is her goal. She believes that psychotherapy is an essential adjunct to medication in improving each person’s quality of life.
Ms. Dexter provides initial adult psychiatric consultation and diagnostic services as well as individualized ongoing medication management. Initial consultations are conducted in person at our Augusta office. Follow-up appointments can be conducted via Telepsychiatry. She accepts referrals from physicians, advanced practice providers, and therapists.
Patients requesting appointments are asked to provide the name of referring therapist, psychiatrist or primary care provider. Please note that all initial consultations are in person.
