My name is Kat Ingellis and I am a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I am based in the Portland; Maine area and I work with clients statewide via TeleHealth. I provide psychiatric medication management services to children, adolescents, and adults with the purpose of symptomatic improvement in psychiatric disorders that include mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, panic disorder, neurodevelopmental disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD), and eating disorders.
I combine holistic nursing theory, neuroscience, medical knowledge, and psychopharmacology to develop a client-centered plan of care individually tailored to help achieve optimum mental health and wellness.
My focus during our first appointment will be on getting to know you and establishing a therapeutic relationship with you. What can be expected during this first appointment, along with subsequent appointments, is a lot of questions so we can develop goals that empower you to optimize your mental health and well-being.
