I want to find the root cause of illness and focus on helping and healing the individual as a whole. This not only includes mental health, but physical as well (or vice versa). I focus on treatment options that work for the patient and offer alternative approaches for those uncomfortable taking pharmaceuticals. Because of my integrative approach, I can find a treatment option with evidence based studies to support both western and eastern medicine, though usually it becomes a combination of both. Here at Stay Spry Health, you will feel heard, cared for and supported, most importantly, without judgement.
My primary specialty is mental health, however, my past 13 years experience in primary care and integrative medicine allow me to address the "whole person." Working in primary care required me to regularly collaborate with specialists (endocrinology, rheumatology, psychiatry, neurology etc). Therefore, I'm able to take the "whole systems" approach.
Our medical system has failed patients over and over. This is why I went into private practice, so as not to be confined to the outdated treatment algorithms that don't work, and provide time and space to really get to the root cause of what's going on.
