My approach to psychiatric care is to work with you to arrive at a sound understanding of the diagnosis and issues that bring you to treatment. From there, we will develop a plan of care together, which may include psychotherapy, and if necessary medication. When I meet you in my practice, I want to get to know you as a whole person, your history, your present challenges as well as your strengths and goals. Through this process, my hope is to help you gain clarity and self-knowledge, relieve your suffering, improve your relationships, and support you in building a full and meaningful life. I also provide couples therapy.
I am a board certified psychiatrist with experience in treating adults from all walks of life and cultures, in particular young adults, students, women, and working/medical professionals. I offer medication management and psychotherapy, with expertise in depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, self-esteem and relationship issues.
