Hi, I'm Dr. Katelyn Dunn, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Tennessee. I received my doctorate from The University of South Carolina; I also have a master’s degree in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
I currently specialize in treating adults aged 18-64 for ADHD, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD, and/or sleep disorder. I have worked with patients across the lifespan, in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and have extensive experience with military, first responders, and aviators.
I provide active listening and emotional support in a calm and nurturing environment. I am transparent in my communication and embolden my patients to speak about their experiences and opinions without fear of judgment. I encourage my patients to ask questions and take an active role in their mental health care.
